Truly Blippin' Marvelous

Practicing occupational

therapy on a couple of bamboo tippers, or bodhran sticks, I made today.

Boy Scout skills coming into play. That's where I learned to whip the ends of ropes to prevent them from fraying. Later I learned simple three strand rope splicing. Long splice is useful for repairing bell ropes that break; keeps the rope at its original thickness. Back and eye splice look pretty but make ropes a little thicker.
