Goła Zośka

I stopped here returning from a familiar tour of duty. The lake (Rozpuda) is still frozen here too. The river flowing from this lake is rather famous and has been saved from the building of a major road which threatened a rare type of peat bog. The new road to divert the thousands of lorries which still thunder through Augustow should soon be functioning but there are protests further down the line now since people aren't thoroughly delighted with the compulsory purchase payments. Normal, I suppose. I wonder what Zośka would say?
