Crown

Today started in a fog but did become sunnier around midday, but as it's the day my cleaning help comes, I stayed at home and so had time to do flower studies.
I realised yesterday that I'm always using my 60 mm Nikkor micro lens for macros, so took the 90 mm Tamron today to see what difference that makes.
Can't say that I'm noticing any big difference, but I did like the exercise ;-)

To me this tall slim tulip with pointy ends on its petals looks like a king's or queen's crown as drawn in some children's books. I'm waiting to see if these tulips will actually open up more :-)
