The nice contrast of carbon and steel

The Scottish sunshine continued this morning, and an unexpected message from a friend brightened up my day further... 'fancy a ride out in your lunch hour?'

In definite contrast to the shot of my bike on yesterday's blip, this is his cool looking Carbon Cervelo aero road bike.

We must have looked an odd pair travelling together on such different machines today, but I really enjoyed the quick lunchtime blast. I think he must have been going very easy on me!
