Third Year Abroad

So one of the many things that I'd been putting off doing for ages was to go and get a codice fiscale (tax code) which I technically needed to sign the contract for my room. The reason I'd been putting it off was, unsurprisingly, not wanting to deal with Italian bureaucracy, but I gritted my teeth and headed for the office. Which was shut. Obviously making sure the times on your website match the actual opening times is just a bit too much effort. So that was a waste of time, although at least I'd worked out where to go (and when the office was truly open). That evening a group of us went to a bar which specialises in sushi aperitivi which was surprisingly good! Although a friend and I ended up walking as I didn't think it looked that far in Google maps. It was. And, as it turned out, there was a bus that went straight from the end of my road all the way there... Whoops.
