Dune roamin'

I just can't resist it. Fruit of yet another stroll on the beach -- the shapes, shadows, and textures are so captivating, and they change all the time. I was pleased with the mono version, but I love these colours so much that this had to be the blip: large for more texture. An alternative dune with footprints is here.

It rained quite a lot last night, but today was sunny, if a bit cooler. At lunchtime, S noticed that the bar at the end of the road was open, so we went for a beer and a sandwich in the sunshine. Allegedly, it was a "hamburger". That's half a baguette each, stuffed to the brim with bacon, cheese, hamburger, caramelised onions, mustard, and not one but two fried eggs. Yum :) I think the food at this chiringuito is pretty good: the French family at the next table were clearly enjoying their tapas of razor-shell clams and grilled prawns, with big plates of chips.
