GETTING IT RIGHT

This is my trusty Sekonic light meter. Nowadays, most photographers don't use one of these...they shoot, check the results on the back of the camera, make adjustments, and shoot again. I have done that, and I still do from time to time, but if you REALLY want to get the exposure right...generally the first time, THIS is how it is done. In the studio, it is almost an essential if you want to be sure you have the correct balance between your key, fill and background lights. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it!!
