Sunrise in Baltimore

Some people find it creepy that our backyard looks out over a cemetery, but those of us who live here know we have quiet neighbors, cool summer breezes, a long view of the city that will never be blocked by new development, and gorgeous views of the sunrise every morning.

I have found that looking out at the cemetery is peaceful - many people come here to pray and remember loved ones. Most importantly, I find it's a good reminder that our time here won't last forever - I'm grateful to see another sunrise, greet another day with unlimited possibilities, and remember that being alive is an incredible gift - not something to take for granted.
