ReWired for Change

Had a great afternoon, thanks to the GWCC, talking with community leaders about how to be the change we want to see in Baltimore.

The day was capped off with Sonja Sohn, of The Wire, who now leads a non-profit that empowers Baltimore community members with funding and training to mentor kids, plant trees or gardens, or otherwise strengthen their communities by bringing community members together to make a change. It's great to see her give back to these communities whose problems she became intimately aware of through her work on The Wire. Congrats Sonja!
