Little Ragged Blossom

These gorgeous flowers of the Eucalyptus were where May Gibbs got her ideas for the characters in her wonderful Australian children's classic "The Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie". These are the adventures of gumnut babies, blossom fairies, evil banksia men and other Australian flora and fauna.
You can see how some are still wearing their "hats" and others have burst forth!
