For Baby's adorable baby album, click here Date night for us, was wonderfully unique today, as my co-worker and friend let us come out to the barn to see her new baby!

Two days old! It's difficult to believe that this entire little filly was folded up tightly inside of Janey, eagerly making her debut in the world of frolic and fun only two days ago! In fact, nobody knew that Janey was even pregnant when she was purchased last fall...not even the previous owners. Her new owner discovered her pregnancy when she showed up with some edema, and had her checked out by the vet only a couple of months ago. Now, Janey is a clever one, considering there were no stallions hanging out in her field with her...and no one is quite sure how she became pregnant. It sounds like she had a date night of her own!
