I was at training for prospective Rotary club presidents in Inverness today. This banner shows the international theme for 2014-15 - Light up Rotary. Gary Huang is the Rotary International president for the coming year, and has chosen a theme based on a Confucius saying "it is better to light one candle than to sit and curse in the darkness." There are 1.2m Rotarians in the world. That's a lot of light in the darkness!
