To Infinity and Beyond!

Well, sort of.

I've wanted to have a go at light trails for a while, but I'm a bit wary of standing on a street corner/bridge with my camera after dark. Instead, I wedged my tripod into the back of the car, set up the camera to shoot 'continuously' and hit the road.

Suffice to say it was quite hard narrowing down a hundred plus photos to a decent handful... and then just one. I really liked the symmetry of this one and the comet like feel of the red streak. I've posted a few more on flickr here and this is probably the closest I'm likely to get to a selfie...
