Silently expectant

Over in Bo'ness at the Hippodrome again, for the Silent Film Festival. Saw a 1927 film called 'The Ghost Train', which wasn't really very scary at all, but still entertaining nonetheless.

This evening saw a great Japanese 1933 silent, called 'Dragnet Girl', a vigorous and stylish work about crime, love and redemption.

Here are the expectant crowd waiting for the scares to start this afternoon ...

As ever, you can keep your fancy CGI special effects, just give me a good story, good acting and fab musical accompaniment any day.
