Water Colour

The day started off a bit mixed with some amazing clouds and startling colours - this was the north side at around 11am. I had been to deliver cards to Eileen's Bar but she was in Mass and came home along the Goat's Path - pretty spectacular I thought.
The day cleared, was bright and sunny and warm and we have slaved away in the garden with very productive results. A new bed had been made 'down below' as I have abandoned the beds 'up the top' as they were too much of a faff to keep composted and tended. Himself made a wooden frame and then we dug and cleared vast quantities of bog grass and stones to get to the earth beneath. We then investigated two more compost bins which were full of fantastic stuff. 8 barrow loads have been deposited on the new bed and we shall be ready to plant spuds tomorrow. No plastic in this lot either (garden waste) but I did find two pairs of gardening gloves and a sock.
