Surplus to requirements

I visited the Assistive Devices Section of DBLM hospital near the end of the working day today, and loved this pile of used and waste materials being readied for disposal, the off cuts, the casts of patients' limbs used in making orthotic (suporting existing limbs) or prosthetic (replacing a missing limb) devices. A fascinating day, and vary hard to choose a blip. Another nearly ran was the pile of old wheelchairs which are outside by the maintenance department. For a few more photos and more explanation of my busy day, see my work blog. I also back blipped yesterday, so for anyone interested in cricket, do have a look!
