An Uninspiring View

This is the view from the window of bed twelve in IDA, which is where the GOG is currently situated.

Progress

The specialist from Papworth had not been before I left, but since I have been home the GOG has sent a text to say that he is going to be taken down for a proper x-ray as opposed to the one they did with the mobile x-ray unit yesterday. This is something the Papworth specialist has asked for. Once he has been seen by this chap he is likely to be moved to another ward although we do not yet know which one.

I was all ready to do battle today regarding the food he was being served, or not as the case may be, but this morning they decided that they did have another menu. I did complain yesterday to the person serving the food, not that it was her fault, but clearly she has spoken to someone, so at least he is getting something better than before.

Today he is feeling much better and has been for a walk around the area with the physiotherapist; he complained that it was not a long enough walk! Today he has been sitting out of bed all day as well as moving about a little, but is still hampered by all the tubes and wires to which he is connected so cannot move about as much as he would like.
