Symbols Of Hope

There are now Marie Curie Fields of Hope dotted across Britain, all filled with daffodils, the symbol of the cancer charity.

This one is a few minutes' walk from where I live. Despite the grey skies, this morning the Field of Hope shone bright and hopeful as I stood for a moment or two, thinking of those dear to me who have left this planet too early from cancer. One day, there will be a cure.

This afternoon I had tea and cake with my dear friend from schooldays and fellow blipper Cathaber who brought the sunshine with her.
