Marling School 'Build a Plane Challenge'

The Jet Age Museum hosted an event this afternoon with Marling School, Stroud, who have been building an aircraft under the guidance of volunteers and the sponsorship of Boeing and the Royal Aeronautical Society. The scheme, 'Build a Plane Challenge' was successfully completed by Marling School and today was a celebration of the achievement . The aircraft flew into Gloucestershire Airport today and carried out a number of flights to give students, and guests, the opportunity to fly in their aircraft.
The celebration and presentations were continued in the Jet Age Museum display hall after celebrations at the airport terminal and 'The Aviator'.
