68 is too late!

Today, Whitehall, had 600 - 700 members of the POA attend a march and a political rally. We were there to stand up for our rights to :
- retire at 60 instead of 68 years of age
- better pay
- less violence in prisons
- stop privatisation

It was a good day, with some very good speakers and supporters.

It's time we stood strong, and stood together, against the government trying to make profits from prisons.

I attended, along with another 16 colleagues from my establishment, and, as you can see, we even had a mascot - Poppy.
