I think it is a young seagull.

Took Craig to Havelock today in the boat, & a couple of the staff and other residents where he lives, came through to pick him up.
Then we headed back up the Kenepuru, and had to go to the Portage to pick up some people to take to Raetihi. Didn't have time to stop at the place where the Spotted Shags are nesting!! (Bother!)
That was the last job of the day in the boat. So PJ went off mowing lawns, and I tried to do some paper work, but could hardly stay awake, so took the dogs for a walk.
