Urban Explorer

The photos I took today were rather like those taken by "urban explorers" - people who investigate man made structures not normally accessible to the public. The "urbex" pictures I have seen are often of deserted, derelict buildings, many due for demolition. These dilapidated structures can often be strangely attractive.

My urban exploration, however, was merely around the staircase of a multi-storey car park. The open, dirty window was shining light on to the peeling wall and banister and creating interesting patterns.

No trespassing or breaking in involved!
