Pets

i made myself a snowball
As perfect as can be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet,
And let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
And a pillow for it's head.
Then last night it ran away,
But first - It wet the bed.

The kids would love to have a pet but where we live now we can't. When we crave a pet cuddle we go to the Humane Society.

Amazing how seeing and being with the cats and dogs changes a human being, my kids in this case.
