Rhododendron 'Lucy Lou'

This is a pretty little rhododendron which grows low and wide (good for smaller gardens) and blooms early even in very dense shade. I planted several to lighten a dark path. It blooms early and then has pretty hairy leaves for interest during the rest of the year. Alas, the storms last week did damage these flowers a bit, but they are still pretty and profuse on this compact shrub.
