Blossom

Today I was determined to enjoy the sunshine before the rain returned, so I headed out at about midday for a long, long walk. First I hiked down through Stromovka Park, which was originally established in 1268 as a hunting preserve (thankfully no hunting there now). I then crossed the river to Troja, where this baroque chateau rests beneath vineyards (part of the botanical gardens) and next to the zoo. Seeing the blossom made it seem like spring, although many of the trees are bare yet, and rain is forecast. I then hiked some way along the A2 bike path, before turning back and finding my way home. More than 12500 steps today, and some 80 or so photos :)
