Family over for lunch, and obviously afterwards we all trooped over to the playground in the park. Leaving was made much easier by the timely arrival of the ice cream van. I was rather impressed by the face on the ice cream cone!

Proper granddad lunch, jacket potatoes, pizza, and cole slaw then chocolate cake for afters. I couldn't say the cake was a success - I substituted self raising flour for plain with quite a lot of baking powder and bicarb, and I suspect that may have been a schoolboy error as the middle of the cake had a v strange consistency
