“I will be the gladdest thing
Under the sun!
I will touch a hundred flowers
And not pick one.”
Edna St. Vincent Millay "Afternoon on a Hill"

The campus is a field of daisies amongst the long soft grass - the kind of carpet that makes you want to walk barefoot whilst reciting poetry.

The day was not as sunny and warm as yesterday, but it was nevertheless a gently warm day that started with breakfast at Karen's (thank you) and included, as yesterday, walking around the plateau for an hour or so - good for soul, mind and body. Currently listening to the third book in the series "Dresden Files" by Jim Butcher. A wonderful yarn beautifully performed by James Marsters.

Nice talking to Dad on Skype this evening - just back from his holiday in Tenerife!
