Wonderful trip today to the Butterfly Rainforest in the Natural History Museum of Gainesville. Private viewing thanks to the very kind efforts of Maura who arranged it for us - totally wonderful. Had a ball with butterflies at every turn - my idea of heaven!

Loved the close up of the eye and the warm colours of this very colourful butterfly, Julia today. Loads hundreds a thousand shots today of the fabulous and varied wildlife of Florida and frankly started to get a bit clueless when it came to choosing just one shot.

My most exciting shot I have to say was kneeling soooo very close to a gator which when it started to move was a bit scary!
