Taking Off

Arriving in Sarasota in torrential rain we found ourselves in car park pointing a long lens out of the window in a rather dodgy manner!

The only reason we were there was to get a pelican shot, so with rain driving in through on my side of the car and no towel, we waited for a fly-by.

So glad the weather wasn't like this at the Band Of Blippers Bash last weekend - weren't we all lucky!!

Yes I know it isn't a portrait shot but at least it's mono :))

Simon is blipping atm and got a great shot of an osprey!
