River communities

Back toward Pontianak from Sukadana we took another 5 hour boat ride, snaking through the small river communities. We passed this child standing in the doorway of this home. I found it to be quite striking. The lifestyle of people living along the river is very different than the city, and especially from Jakarta. It's really great to get out and see the many faces of Indonesia.
