George Town

On Sunday in Penang we continued exploring the streets of George Town. We discovered unique street art along Armenian Street and enjoyed bubble tea. We found the Chew Jetty - a community that lives in homes all above the water. We found many Chinese temples scattered across the streets, and tasted some more authentic Malaysian food, including the famous Char Koay Teow. We also discovered these beautiful restored old George Town homes, with bright colors and fun decorations. While much of the city remains run down but incredible (it's a UNESCO heritage site) I found these restorations equally charming!
