Buzzing

Sometimes March light feels like a hallucination. Everything looks super-real. The acid yellow of the daffodils and the loud honeybees on the almond blossom in the greenhouse. I'm living in one of my favourite paintings, 'A Study in March' ', by John William Inchbold, which I used to spend hours in front of in the Ashmolean.

So I've spent some time outdoors, connected up the hose (in the hope of no late severe frosts). Cycled to a nice sunny meeting with Sally about bike breakfasts. Walked in the woods.
Now it's down to earth.. parents' evening. Ho hum.
