Shoefiti

Nice sunny day today, but chilly cold too. (it's going to freeze tonight)

Great day for Blip shooting and I wanted to portray something different. My wish was soon reality when I found this little square with several shoes hanging in the trees.

I had seen this 'Shoefiti' cult in the film 'Wag the Dog' in the nineties, where it was a symbol to show your support to free a captured soldier behind enemy lines.

Still my research on wiki etc. tells me something but there are many other explanations too.

Anybody there who can tell me the true origin?
