On the farm

Even though our new Acting Administrator looks a bit over-dressed, she is never far away form work. The ear-rings may be good for scaring off any small pests Ha Ha. She is with us on and off for six years now and has spent many periods working on the farm. In between she has qualified as a nurse, where her grounding in hard work must have been useful.
Here she is working with Wezzie on the mango seedlings, preparing them for grafting.
Alepher arrived with Alenepher to encourage the staff in their huge task of trying to reach a targeted 25,ooo improved variety seedlings for the year.
One of their tasks was to assess the orchard for pests and infections and come up with plans and solutions. Alinepher who has also worked on the farm is a horticulturalist.
Another returnee is John, who is back after four years in the commercial sector.
Oh the polythene tubes in the background are being filled on contract at a rate per tube. We'll see how it goes
