Rolling down the road
sagebrush, juniper and dust

It's been a very low-key day. Most of our time was spent on the highway. It was sad to leave such beautiful weather in Utah with so many locations left there to explore. We were traveling through the area of the former Lake Bonneville today. From the vehicle it looked very prairie-like with dry bunch grass and some sagebrush. There are distant hills but few mountains to be seen. We find pockets of juniper trees here and there.
We made a quick stop in Snowville, Utah for lunch when we needed to fill the gas tank. Then it was straight through to Declo, Idaho. Our campsite is beside the Snake River.
