For years The Magician has been making a living by giving performances of his "Amazing Rope Trick As Performed In Front Of Royalty Using The Amazing Magical Powers Passed On To Him By Some Clever Fakirs". But now, his act is revealed to be a sham. Rather than levitating the rope by means of his "Amazing And Stupendous Powers" (The Magician is fond of capitals and of the word "Amazing"), it has emerged that he is in league with a common or garden, everyday, magical cat!

He won't be able to show his face in Magical Circles any more!

In other news, the Amazing Boys From IT (sorry, it's catching) turned over the pretenders to their throne! 3-2! Speaking to the press after the match, their suave and sophisticated player-manager (Men want to be him, Women want to know where the smell is coming from) confessed to being "over the moon" and declared that "the boys done good".
