The Vienna Secession--Evening

We flew to Vienna yesterday--the main event today was an exhibition on the origins of the Albertina, including a wonderful selection from its unparalleled collection of old master drawings. The link (in English) as images of a few of the drawings. Standouts were Durer, Pieter Breughel and Raphael.

The Secession, pictured above, houses the Beethoven Frieze by Gustav Klimt, one of his key works. We didn't visit it on our trip to Vienna at the end of November, but we will in the next couple of days, and I will report.
