At his master's feet

Got out for a run this morning; after the sun had risen (totally hidden by clouds) so there was good light for street photography.

Patiently, this large German Shepherd sat and waited for his master to emerge from the One 2 One Cafe on Ponsonby Road to sit with his newspaper. The coffee (a flat white by the look of the cup he had when I ran back on my way home) came later. No books were being read here this morning, as the man inside the cafe had his laptop open.

It is likely that the patient and well behaved dog under the table would agree with the thought posted low on a column by the doorway into the cafe.

I chose to leave the newspaper reader undisturbed by a request to take his photo. One more from my One Street.
