Mountain Ears

Monday.... Office.....

Still largely unnerved by a lot. So a banal day in the office was needed; and duly received. Actually, not the normal level of post weekend frenzy and relatively quiet.

Made all the more bearable by a lunchtime wander up da Seat with long time but occasional wandering buddy Al.

He compleated Munros last June, and has promptly piled on weight; mostly he's kayaking and the exercise regime is different. Readjustment can be tough. Met just before one on a glorious spring day; jumper and t shirt was more than sufficient. And this time (unlike last) he made it to the top; fabulous views of snow covered hills away off 40 miles to the north; busy, but to be expected.

And 1 hour 8 minutes well spent.

Then more drudge; walked her to ASC for a ten minute chat; I went home, picked up bike with lights, Asda, library and was finally in nearer 8. Tired but stocked up. Busy week ahead; boys, parents, play date, climbing, OT.

Great chat; first for ages of an hour or more. Mostly they have been punctuated in the past week or two by one or other's children needing something.

So yeah...
