Bringing it to Life

Whilst Annie worked from home today, for me (Chris) it was day 2 of my Lifestyle Portraiture course.

After a full day in the classroom yesterday, today was all about shooting. We started with a single model this morning. After lunch we moved on to a couple (a real couple shortly to get married) and finally a family shoot with two very active small boys. It was a really intense day and lots of what we covered yesterday came to life today as we sought out the best locations and perspectives for lighting our subjects. As the day progressed, we were lessening our dependency on our trainer and making more of our own decisions. This included finding places to duck for cover when the inevitable showers of rain fell.

Overall a really great couple of days.
