Off to Russia

Met a very old friend this afternoon, photographer Dave Hunt, from Killin and he tells me he is off to Russia in two weeks.


He has a solo exhibition of his work in Pskov, several hours drive from St Petersburg.

He says Russia is still very traditional as far as photography is concerned and many do not regard it as a Fine Art.

His exhibition will therefore be breaking new ground.

Dave is a former chair of Perthshire Open Studios and he was extremely supportive, along with his wife Gill, in helping us set up Forth Valley Open Studios five years ago.
