Scallie shoe games

Used to be kids were robbed of their latest model trainers. Perhaps Longsight is too poor for kids to have expensive trainers, but the game seems to have changed. Walking to the bus stop this morning we saw three pairs of cheap, beat-up trainers tied together by the laces and thrown up across street wires. New form of bullying? Or have gangs been taken over by children? Still, it's better than the gun games we had in Longsight and Moss Side a few years back.
