60s Icon

As I am still recovering from our city break and the two house viewings on our return I didn't really venture out today other than for an early morning coffee with friends.

Lavished with cards and flowers from sons who are notorious for forgetting "special days" I was feeling happy and contented and looking forward to a peaceful day at home. I enjoyed spending some time working on my photographic project on taking a series of photographs in the style of a famous photographer .

I therefore had to take an indoor photo today and chose my 60s icon painting which I bought at the Brighton Festival 5 years ago. This, I have to confess, is how I still see myself and I won't be persuaded otherwise.
