Foggy Mother's Day in Edinburgh

A thick haar over the east of the country as we drove through to Edinburgh for the Mother's Day visit. The fog seemed to get worse as the day progressed. Good to catch up with Mum and Dad.

A walk along the canal to the Slateford Aqueduct, where the Union Canal crosses the Waters of Leith. Lots of runners and cyclists, and a very dangerous rider travelling at speed on a motorbike along the tow path - surely this can't be allowed.

Good to chat with #1 on skype this evening, he's up in Aberdeen; #2 has been texting from London.

Five years today since we lost Hil. Rather poignant that it is Mother's Day. Sending our love to the London branch. "She who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91
