It's not the winning that counts...

...it's the taking part. This was the annual Beluga Society spring golfing festival. 25 players and three days. An excuse to study oak trees, or a good walk ruined? As you can see from the trophy at stake, it was not all about winning. Pictured is our honorary ex-president, ventriloquist and society orator Barney: "This is not the end, this is not even the beginning of the end, this is just perhaps the end of the beginning". He might have said that, but so did Winston Churchill.
