Hillsborough Memorial

Nearly 25 years ago 96 football fans died at Hillsborough. Their families have shown remarkable courage and dignity in trying to find out what happened. The first inquest verdicts have now been quashed and today fresh inquests begin. Let us hope that the truth about the tragic events at Hillsborough will finally be seen. This bronze memorial is by the sculptor Tom Murphy and is situated next to St Johns Gardens in Liverpool.
