Bonnybridge Hospital (deceased)

Forth Valley Health Board opened a spanking new hospital in Larbert in 2010. Most services previously carried out at the old Stirling and Falkirk Hospitals were transferred to the new Forth Valley Royal over a period of time afterwards and some local community hospitals closed, with services and patients moving to the former Stirling and Falkirk sites.

Among the local hospitals closed was the one in Bonnybridge and the hospital building has lain derelict from December 2011.

The land has recently been sold to a property developer for housing and so, within the past few weeks, the demolition teams have moved in. This is all that remains of Bonnybridge Hospital today.
