Wanderings & Witterings

Condorrat cow

Condorrat Village has some quirky and interesting flower displays around its ring-road. As one enters the village from the east (Cumbernauld) side, there is a large wire bee-shaped structure complete with wire flowers as well as real ones; and other displays include a train, and a horse and cart. This picture is a close-up of one of the train carriages, each of which is a flower box.

Within the past few days, these displays have been 'adorned' (some might say defaced) with placards denouncing plans by a well-known store to open in the village, hence the reason to go for a close-up shot rather than one of the complete train or the horse & cart or the bee. Maybe I'll leave those for another day.
