Staved fingers and broken teeth...

What a day!
Early start, couple of hours Spanish, jaunt to towbar man, back round the Loch to meet a friend for lunch and a long overdue catch up (she kindly collected my daughter who had been stuck at the surgery all morning to let me do my Spanish)...

Quick change in the loos and off down to the Loch with the dogs for Day 2 of the 5x50 Challenge...managed 2.5km run/jog/walk - not bad on fullish tummies!

Dragged to the swimming pool by the 9 year old tyrant and made to swim 50 lengths as the second half of our 5X50 contribution.
The child is a slave-driver - "now swim a length using only one arm!" - yes, really!

Straight over to the High School for a presentation about middle son's Outward Bound week last week - felt further exhausted seeing photos of them abseiling, kayaking, rock climbing, camping......

Middle son then appeared two hours earlier than expected from a volleyball tournament (teacher's fault apparently. He thought it was a tournament!).
Last minute phone call to organised friend to borrow rugby kit, rush to rugby club, try on boots (too small!), grab gumshield, run to pub with child in tow, request boiling water, mould gummy then throw him on to pitch...

Back to High School for Parent Council subgroup meeting....

Back to rugby club to collect boys.....

"I have bad news mum".......broken front tooth AGAIN!
"Oh, and a staved thumb!"

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

(Poor wee sister had a very boring first day of her school holidays. And I promised a cinema and shopping trip tomorrow. Might be spent at the dentist...again!)

But, you know, I ONLY work part-time!
