Ice cream at the seaside

The sun blazed and the english seaside rituals at Broadstairs were in full swing. Children digging holes in the golden sand. Adults attempting to snooze in deckchairs. Children skittering in and out of the shallows. Our dog hates water but will always teeter at the edge, and attempts to round up as much seaweed as possible. We treated ourselves to some gorgeous icecream at Morelli's, and sat in classic english style, on a bench looking out to sea, in the ornamental gardens.
Morelli's is an amazing old style ice cream parlour, laid out with 60s style table and chairs, and a high counter to lean out. Delicious!
